The National Association for Humanitarian Response and Development (NAHR), with support from IHE Delft, organized a specialized seminar on sustainable water resource management in Yemen, with the participation of experts and stakeholders from various sectors.
During the seminar, Engineer Omar Al-Sheikh presented an overview of the key challenges facing the water sector in the country, including water scarcity, the impacts of climate change, and increasing pressure on groundwater resources. He also highlighted modern practices and approaches that contribute to water conservation and integrated water resource management, in addition to presenting a comprehensive program aimed at ensuring the sustainability of water resources for future generations.
This seminar comes as part of NAHR’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote sustainable development and strengthen community resilience in the face of environmental challenges and crises.
