National Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Response (NFDHR) carried out coordination workshop with main stakeholders in Marib, as well as need and market assessment as part of the project Emergency Response to Food and Education Gaps for the vulnerable and most affected population in Marib and Hadramout.
The coordination workshop included relevant authorities, host and IDPs communities, and humanitarian partners; and aimed to introduce the project, its objectives, activities, locations and the timeline of the implementation.
The need and market assessment aimed also to identify the actual price of food items and the extent to which these aids can cover the basic needs of targeted households. The assessment also aimed to understand the market capacity to provide the needed food items and to evaluate the capacity of the exchange service providers to engage in the tenders of cash assistance.
